Happy Solstice 2011

Happy Solstice everyone! The darkest night is here, the time for reflection and silence as seeds of new ideas germinate beneath the surface. The sun/son has died on the (celestial) cross where it will remain still, entombed, for three days until it is born again, ascending to bring light to the planet, to enlighten all upon whom it shines. It is a holy day for sure, and is not just the basis for Christmas, but the basis of all of Christianity. It is a powerful day indeed.

We are also only 1 week out of 2012. Prophecies throughout the ages have pointed to 2012 as a time of great transformation. The winter solstice of 2012 has been particularly noted as a day when we meet up with the center of the galaxy catapulting us into a new world. It will certainly be an interesting year to watch.

In the meantime, its a great excuse to suck the manna out of life for the next 365 days, don’t ya think?

What is Metaphysics?

What is Metaphysics?

Getting a degree is no small undertaking. So when it comes time to look at the wide variety of degrees available it is important to give great consideration to the degree one would pursue.

When choosing a degree, people seem to choose one of two directions. Either they will go to school to learn a specific skillset or they will get a degree that teaches them how to think. The two pathways can be quite divergent.

It is certainly understandable that many people go to college to develop a skillset that is valuable in the world. No doubt about it. The downside to this, though, is that such an education really can tie a person down to a career that may turn out to be something one may not even want to do. Additionally, six figure student loans can be very difficult to traverse into a new direction. I personally know of several medical doctors who, having spent 15 years of their life and hundreds of thousands of dollars in education, discover that once they were in the field actually WORKING as a doctor, they didn’t agree with the medical paradigm. Unfortunately, though, many feel stuck. So much time and money has been invested that it seems impossible to walk away.  This is true in a myriad of programs.
At IMU, we work differently. Instead of learning a specific skillset,  we teach you to think. Ultimately, IMU is a school about critical thinking. It is a school that teaches you how to look at the world, how to see the world through clear eyes, and then get to work doing your part to make the world better.  More than that, we integrate higher thinking with your entire being, encompassing mind and body with deep spiritual and emotional development.
How do we do this? By offering a degree in Metaphysics!

Metaphysics: Defined

Metaphysic comes from 2 words, the word “meta” meaning  “beyond”. So and “physics”  meaning “the study of the material world.” The practice of metaphysics means “beyond physics.” Metaphysics is considered to be a branch of philosophy that examines the fundamental nature of life itself. Metaphysics examines life and all of its myriad aspects from the perspective of one who asks questions that go beyond the limited scope of science itself.

Metaphysics as a discipline, was a central part of scholarly education even before the age of Aristotle who considered it “the Queen of Sciences.” Its issues were considered by the masses  to be no less important than the other main formal subjects like physical science, medicine, and mathematics. Eventually, metaphysics grew to encompass the philosophy of religion where it continues to thrive to this day.Unfortunately, by the 18th century, people began to ask “how do you know that?” This change in the direction of questioning lead to what is now known as modern day science.
So what does it mean to go “beyond physics”? This concept, considered crazy talk in some circles, encourages the student tolook behind the veil, to explore every idea, to examine new ways of looking at any subject. More than that, we take these ideas and we test them, we put them into practice, and we seek to live on the cutting edge of physics and metaphysics in a way that shakes up traditional thinking.

So you must ask yourself, is this YOU? Are you the kind of person who sees the world through different eyes? Are you the kind of person who wants to take these new ideas, put them into action, and make the world a better place? IF yes, then IMU might be just the school for you. Earth-Like Planet Discovered

Kepler-22b: New Planet With Earth-Like Characteristics Discovered In ‘Habitable Zone’ (IMAGE)

The Huffington Post First Posted: 12/ 5/11 06:46 PM ET Updated: 12/ 6/11 09:23 PM ET

NASA announced Monday the discovery of Kepler-22b, the first planet the Kepler spacecraft has discovered in the habitable zone, an area with a distance from a star where temperatures will permit the existence of liquid water.

The discovery of Kepler-22b, which is 600 light-years away from Earth, brings scientists one step closer to finding a planet that could possibly harbor life.

“This is a major milestone on the road to finding Earth’s twin,” Douglas Hudgins, Kepler program scientist said in a statement. “Kepler’s results continue to demonstrate the importance of NASA’s science missions, which aim to answer some of the biggest questions about our place in the universe.”

IMAGE BELOW

Kepler-22b has several Earth-like characteristics: The new planet‘s temperature is around 72 degrees Fahrenheit and its radius is 2.4 times Earth’s. The planet completely orbits its star, which is similar to our sun, every 290 days, just 75 days shy of an Earth year.

Last week, the National Optical Astronomy Observatory announced the discovery of Kepler-21b, a new planet with a radius 1.6 times Earth’s. But unlike Kepler-21b, which is only about 3.7 million miles away from its sun and is therefore a scorching 2,960 degrees Fahrenheit, Kepler-22b is about 79 million miles from its sun, coming in at a pleasant 72 degrees.

Still, NASA says it’s not yet clear if Kepler-22b is composed of rock, gas or liquid.

Scientists use the Kepler spacecraft to discover new planets by analyzing extremely faint dips in light from far-away stars. These “dips” occur each time the planet passes between the Kepler and its sun, therefore obstructing the star’s light. In order for a planet to be confirmed, scientists must observe the celestial body orbit its sun three times.

Since Kepler-22B takes 290 days to orbit its sun, it took nearly three Earth years for scientists to confirm that it was a planet. Steve Howell, a scientist at the NASA Ames Research Center who’s on the Kepler team, told The Huffington Post that scientists first noticed the a drop in light only days after Kepler was launched in 2009.

“We were just real lucky,” Howell told HuffPost. “We saw the first hint of this three days after we started doing science operations right after launch.”

According to CNN, the Kepler spacecraft has led to the identification of 2,326 planet candidates since its mission began.

But the most thrilling discoveries are still to come.

“It’s tremendously exciting,” Howell said, adding that the Kepler spacecraft continues to find planets more and more like Earth. “We’re moving out to orbital periods that are nearly and equal to the Earth, and that means very soon we’re going to be finding [planets] very near the earth, what we’d call true earth analogs. We’ll be there. We’ll be there probably within a year, very easily.”

This diagram compares our own solar system to Kepler-22, a star system containing the first “habitable zone” planet discovered by NASA’s Kepler mission. The habitable zone is the sweet spot around a star where temperatures are right for water to exist in its liquid form. Liquid water is essential for life on Earth. (NASA)

In visible light, the star-forming cloud known as NGC 281 in the constellation of Cassiopeia appears to be chomping through the cosmos, earning it the nickname the “Pacman” nebula after the famous Pac-Man video game of the 1980s.

If you Want to be a rebel, Be Kind

If You Want To Be a Rebel, Be Kind

The police had declared Monday, November 14th of 2011 as the day of the raid on the Occupy Oakland encampment. It was the first Occupy site to call for a general strike that shut down the fifth largest port in the country; it was also the first Occupy gathering to report a shooting and a murder, as police violence also reached new heights. With tensions mounting amidst political chaos, police escalated their violent crackdowns and the narrative of fear. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent in preparation for the raid, police from around the state were called in, and uncertainty filled the air.
The night before, Pancho Ramos Stierle heard about growing tensions in the community and thought, “If police are stepping up their violence, we need to go and step up our nonviolence.” So on that Monday morning at 3:30AM, Pancho and his housemate Adelaja went to the site of the Occupy Oakland raid. With an upright back and half-lotus posture, they started meditating. Many factions of protesters were around but the presence of strong meditators changed the vibe entirely. Around 6:30AM, the police showed up in full force. Full-out riot gear, pepper spray, rubber bullets, tear gas. All media was present, expecting a headline story around this incredibly tense scene. Instead, they found 32 people, all peaceful, with Pancho and Adeleja meditating with their eyes closed in the middle of the Plaza. As the police followed their orders of arresting them, people took photos — particularly of two smiling meditators surrounded by police looking like they’re ready to go to war. Within a day, that photo would spread to millions around the world, as Occupy Oakland raid ended without any reported violence.

One such experience can be enough for a lifetime. For Pancho, though, this is just run of the mill. In small ways and big, he is always looking to step up his compassion in the most unexpected places.

Raised in Mexico, Pancho was fascinated by the stars, planets, and galaxies. He would always look up in outer space and admire the border-less cosmos that we inhabit; and he’d imagine looking down at Planet Earth from outer space — and not seeing any lines across countries. He envisioned a world of oneness and unity, and when he got a full scholarship to study the cosmos at University of California at Berkeley, his vision got a huge boost. He moved to Berkeley to pursue his PhD in Astrophysics.

On campus one day, he serendipitously engages in a profound hallway conversation with a janitor. It opens his eyes to the janitor’s incredibly difficult life. Something awakens in him, as he actively starts looking for solutions. “I saw that instead of PhD’s, what the world needs more are PhDo’s,” Pancho recalls.

As time went on, Pancho realizes that his research supports an institution that actively proliferates nuclear weapons. That tips him over the edge. Not only did he stop cooperating with the university system, he starts raising a dissenting voice.

When his complains fall on deaf ears, he partakes in a nine-day fast with other students and professors across California to request an open dialogue with the UC Regents — the governing body of the University of California. The fast cultimates at a public hearing of the Regents. When the student request is denied, they lock arms in nonviolent protest and sit peacefully. To disengage them, the police are ordered to make an example of one of them. They lift up this man, slam him to the ground, put a knee on his neck, twist his arms behind his back and handcuff him ruthlessly. Supporters start shouting at the overt show of inhumane behavior towards a fragile student who hadn’t eaten a single morsel of food for nine days. That man was none other than Pancho.

The story would end there, except that Pancho’s strength resided beyond his body. “It was excruciating pain,” Pancho recalls. Perhaps the police officer picked on Pancho because of his small and skinny frame, but the outer force is no match for Pancho’s inner might. The injustice is obvious, but Pancho knew that the officer is not to blame. In a completely unrehearsed move of raw compassion, Pancho, with all the love in his heart, looks directly into the police officer’s eyes, and says, “Brother, I forgive you. I am not doing this for me, I am not doing this for you. I am doing it for your children and the children of your children.” The overflowing love coming from the heart of this man on a nine-day fast is unmistakable. This is not the kind of encounter that police are trained in. Seeing his confusion, Pancho steps up his empathy and changes the topic. Looking at the last name on his badge, he asks for the officer’s first name. And addressing him as a family member, he says, “Brother, let me guess, you must like Mexican food.” [Awkward pause.] “Yes.” “Well, I know this place in San Francisco that has the best carnitas and fajitas and quesadillas, and I tell you what, when I get done with this and you get done with this, I’d like to break my fast with you. What do you say?”

The police officer is completely flabbergasted, his humanity irrevocably invoked. He accepts the invitation! Dropping eye contact gently, he then walks around Pancho and voluntarily loosens his handcuffs. In silence. By now, all of Pancho’s comrades — twelve of them — are also in handcuffs, so the officer then goes around to loosen everyone else’s handcuffs too.

There are those who use anger, sarcasm and parody to confront unjust action. Pancho does it with just the simple — and radical — power of love. If he had a superpower, that would be it. He is a fearless soldier of compassion, unconditionally willing to hold up a fierce mirror of love.

For Pancho, the whole World, every moment, is his field of practice. When he was recently asked what nourishes him, his response was clear: meditation and small acts of kindness. Meditation deepens his awareness while small acts of kindness deepens his inter-connectedness. Or as Pancho would sum it up, “Meditation is the DNA of the kindness revolution.” Ever since he first went to a meditation retreat, he has continued to meditate everyday. “Pancho 2.0″ is what he calls himself since then. It was as if he discovered a new technology to battle our burning world.

Spirituality often sees activism as unnecessarily binding, while activism often sees spirituality as a navel-gazing escape. For Pancho, though, the two paths merge into one. Meditation is internal service, while service is external meditation.

In Arizona, when Pancho is arrested for protesting immigration laws that President Obama called unconstitutional, he smiles peacefully for his mug shot. The Sheriff yells out an order: “Stop smiling.” Immediately, it mirrors the ridiculousness of the request. Several years ago, some of Pancho’s friends lived in a tree to ignite a conversation around “chopping down 300 year old trees in 30 minutes”. When the authorities put a barricade around the tree to starve the tree-sitters, Pancho shows up to meditate and spread “metta” (loving kindness) to all those around him. While sitting peacefully under the tree, he is arrested. His offense quite literally read: “Disturbing the peace.”

Ultimately, it was in Gandhi that Pancho found his greatest role model for social change. Perhaps for the first time, history had seen someone manifest seismic systemic shifts in the world solely through the power of inner transformation. Gandhi opposed unjust action, not just without violence but with radical love for everyone including the person doing the harm; and for every act of resistance, he advocated nine more actions for constructive social change.

“Nonviolence isn’t just a philosophy of resistance. It is a way of life. Nonviolence is the thoughts we have, the words that we use, the clothes that we wear, the things that we say. It is not just an absence of violence, not even just the absence of wanting to cause harm. Nonviolence is a state when your heart is so full of love, compassion, kindness, generosity and forgiveness that you simply don’t have any room for anger, frustration or violence,” Pancho describes.

When Pancho stopped cooperating with the University of California system, he lost his student visa. In light of his courage, more than a dozen people offered to help reinstate his status. He appreciated the gesture but chose to stay undocumented. More than being in one geographical location or another, he was more interested in blooming wherever he was planted. Now, all of a sudden, being “undocumented”, he got an experiential insight into what that meant for 11 million people living in the United States; he couldn’t work, he couldn’t have a bank account or a credit card, he couldn’t own anything and he’d have to work low-wage labor jobs, without any insurance, just to survive.

Here is someone capable of being a rocket scientist, whose father is an Economics scholar and author in Mexico, who chooses to live without any financial currency — just so he can be of service to his struggling brethren. He is sustained purely by social capital. His tendency to constantly seek to be helpful earns him many friends, who would host him one day of the week. And on days that he didn’t have a host, he’d just live out in the woods (“Redwood Cathedral” as he calls it). Such details don’t matter much for Pancho. All his possessions fit into one bag pack, as his life organizes around doing acts of service.

When Pancho learned about the troubled situation in his neighboring East Oakland, he was quite moved. Rife with gang warfare, it is an area that most people have written off. Every week, residents hear the sounds of gun shots being fired — and that’s no exaggeration. It’s a community with 53 liquor stores and no grocery stores. The tensions between the police and the community have continued to escalate, while traditional civic programs haven’t made much of a dent.

So Pancho decides to do something about it, with an altogether different framework. Instead of helping from the outside, he wanted to become one of them; instead of just receiving external aid, he wondered if the community could not only discover undiscovered gifts but then share them freely with others.

With a few like-hearted friends, Pancho rents a house right on the border of two gangs. They call their home “Casa de Paz” — house of peace. The shared values of the house include 2 hours of daily meditation, no drinking, and a vegan diet. And no locks on the doors — anyone can come in any time.

Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, they meditate and do yoga at the local Cesar Chavez park (which has been home to several shootings in recent months). People have all kinds of reactions to their public meditations. One time, a mildly drunk man with bloodshot eyes is roaming the park with his girlfriend. Initially, they smirk and make snide remarks but then as they approach Pancho and his two housemates sitting in crossed legged meditation, Pancho opens his eyes with a loving embrace. As Pancho reaches to grab something from his bag, the man instinctively reached for something (possibly a gun) in his pocket. “Brother, here’s a fresh, local, organic strawberry for you,” Pancho said while holding up the edible, red-colored gift from Nature.

On another occasion, their neighbor’s teenage daughter attempts to commit suicide, on a Friday afternoon. The sounds of sirens create a mild panic in the community but for Pancho and his housemates, it is another opportunity to spread love. They show up to comfort their neighbors, with a kettle of hot tea, as the family shares their troubles. Over the next month, that same teenage girl becomes a friend and gets interested in the farming projects at Casa de Paz.

Almost everyday, they facilitate these transformations. Another time, a few young boys boisterously smash empty alcohol bottles on the streets, just as a prank. Instead of cringing in fear, Pancho runs outside, barefoot. The boys could see him and vice-versa, and instead of anger, Pancho humbly bends down and starts picking up the pieces of broken glass. Something about that act took the kids by surprise, as they slowly returned back. “Brother, you see that house over there? They have a young one, and when he walks out on the street, we don’t want them to get hurt,” Pancho explains to them in fluent Spanish. One thing after another, the kids themselves start helping pick up the broken pieces — and make role models of these love warriors on their street.

In isolation, these are small stories. Yet, collectively, its impact adds up. It binds the community, it creates new connections, it fills the gaps. Its like the silence in between the notes that allows the music to be heard.

“A lot of people talk their talk, but very few can walk their walk. Living in that community is hard, but living at Casa de Paz is even harder. They simply refuse to compromise their values, even in small ways, when no one else is looking. One time, I told them that perhaps their precepts were a bit too tough, and Pancho opened up a book and showed me 11 observances that Gandhi upheld at his ashram. I couldn’t say anything to that,” remembers Kanchan Gokhale, a long-time friend.

One of those observances is Silent Mondays. In the tradition of Gandhi, Pancho is silent every Monday. Even on that November 14th, the day of the Occupy Oakland raid which happened to be a Monday, Pancho stays silent on principle. As the riot police arrest him, he writes a comment on a piece of paper: “On Mondays, I practice silence. But I’d like you to hear that I love you.” The officer smiles. How could you not?

“On the face of it, Pancho doesn’t own anything. Yet, he is one of the most generous people I’ve ever met,” says another friend, Joanna Holsten.

How can you give, when you don’t have anything? That paradox is what makes Pancho shine. When a friend asked him about service, he took her to a local Farmers Market with two chairs. She sat on one chair, and put a sign on the other chair: “Free listening.” When Pancho and his friends saw unused fruit in their neighbor’s backyards, they requested to “glean” the fruit and then gift it to strangers: “This is a gift from East Oakland.” On a recent Sunday, they gave away 250 pounds of fresh, organic oranges that way.

That creative generosity, a kind of “giftivism”, takes all kinds of forms for Pancho.

Of the 32 people arrested at Occupy Oakland, 31 were sent home on the same day, with a misdemeanor charge. Pancho, however, is held for deportation. Very quickly, he becomes an iconic symbol for all that is wrong with the dominant paradigm. Within two days, twenty thousand people sign a petition to free Pancho. At his court arraignment, a large group of people show up to meditate — which has never happened in that courthouse, and again confuses all the police in riot-gear who are themselves drawn to the circle. People from around the world call the sheriffs and congress representatives. Media everywhere reports the story. Vigils are held by many around the globe. By the end of the four days, Alameda County D.A. drops all criminal charges and ICE (Immigrations and Customs Enforcement) releases Pancho from jail, without any bail. No one can really explain the unprecedented move by the authorities. “It was truly a miracle that he was let go,” Marianne Manilove posted on her FaceBook wall.

Francisco Ugarte, Pancho’s pro-bono laywer, happily reported, “They really didn’t know what to do with him.” He would relay Pancho’s notes from various jails that he was being shuttled to. “Tell them that I love them all. (It’s a) great place to meditate!” was his first note to friends and supporters. Francisco’s second note conveyed this message: “Pancho wanted me to convey to folks that he was, for some reason, identified as a particularly dangerous inmate, wearing a red clothes in jail, and shackled so that the movement of his arms was restrained. The shackles were metal, and surrounded his waist. Apparently, this treatment is reserved only for the most “dangerous” inmates. It is unclear why Alameda County have done this. But after a short conversation, we agreed that, without a doubt, Pancho was the most dangerous person in Santa Rita Jail — dangerous to the whole system. As Pancho said, ‘The most effective weapon against a system based on greed and violence is kindness.’”

Kindness is indeed Pancho’s go-to weapon. When in doubt, be kind. Even otherwise, be kind.

As Pancho is shackled up in solitary confinement, he creates a makeshift cushion with his shoes and starts meditating. The guards themselves start taking photos to post on their Facebook walls! Moved by his equipoise under conditions of extreme stress, some guards even inquire about the specifics of meditation. One of them befriends him and gifts him an extra “package” — a toothbrush, a toothpaste, a piece of paper and a pen. Pancho then cleans up his cell of all the litter, toilet paper and other waste; on the piece of paper he writes, “Smile. You’ve just been tagged with an anonymous act of kindness!”, and leaves that extra toothpaste and toothbrush next to it. “I wanted to beautify the cell for the next person after me,” he would later say. Jails didn’t have any vegetarian food, so he smilingly fasted — having two oranges in four days. He gifts away his ham sandwiches to other inmates, and connects with them in the spirit of generosity too. In transit, when he has more contact with other prisoners, he educates them about their rights. With the ICE agent who shackles him, he smilingly says, “Sister, your soul is too beautiful to be doing this kind of work.” To which she smiled back and responded, “Thank you.”

Really, there’s not much else one can respond with.

When he is released from jail, lots of media houses are frantically looking for him. Pancho, utterly uninterested in the games of fame, is unreachable. The man doesn’t even have a phone. That weekend, like every weekend, the best way to find him was to meditate at Casa de Paz, or volunteer at Karma Kitchen, or farm at the Free Farm Stand. “Let’s replicate constructive programs,” he would say, while retelling stories of Gandhi.

From anarchists to administrators, people love Pancho — not just because he fiercely stands up for his values but because he is genuinely and constantly moved by love. Whenever you meet him, he pre-emptively warns, “Hello, my family calls me Pancho. I’m from the part of the planet we call Mexico and in Mexico, we like to give hugs,” before enveloping you in his trademark embrace.

Former US Marine Jason Kal recalls, “When we first met, I just casually told Pancho that I liked his t-shirt that said ‘ahimsa’ (meaning nonviolence) on it. The next thing you know, he just takes off his t-shirt and gives it to me. I was totally speechless. I’ve never seen anyone do that.” Today, Jason is Pancho’s housemate at Casa de Paz and a dear friend.

As Pancho often signs off his emails, “If you want to be a rebel, be kind.”

Petition, UFOs, White House and Lies

http://2012indyinfo.com/2011/11/14/petition-ufos-white-house-and-lies/#more-20528

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when personnel of the Office of Science and Technology Policy of the Executive Office of the President at the New Executive Office Building in Washington , D.C., discussed how to respond to a petition about disclosing data on UFOs. I suspect that nobody brought up the enormous amount of information available indicating that not only are aliens visiting, but the US and other government have been withholding information for many decades. The response certainly indicates intentional lying and misrepresentation or total ignorance.

The petition, prepared and submitted by Steve Bassett’s Paradigm Research Group, went like this:

“We, the undersigned strongly urge the President of the United States to formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and immediately release into the public domain all files from all agencies and military services relevant to this phenomenon”.

I, for one, was not one of more than 5000 persons signing the petition. My reason was straight forward. Having worked under security for 14 years and having researched the flying saucer phenomenon (certainly most UFOs are NOT alien flying saucers) for 53 years , I believe there is a very strong national security side to the question. I cannot see releasing technical data that could be of use to other countries also researching the phenomena and wanting to duplicate the extraordinary flying capabilities of the flying saucers… for military purposes.

The response was issued by research assistant Phil Larson. He stated “The US government has no evidence that [1] any life exists outside our planet or [2] that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition [3] there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.” No indication is provided as to just what sources, if any, were evaluated. Furthermore, a real red herring was provided “There are a number of projects working toward the goal of understanding if life can or does exist off Earth” . . . he then discusses SETI, The Kepler Spacecraft, the Mars Science Laboratory, Curiosity, soon to be launched to Mars. None of these have anything to do with the extraterrestrial presence here, the petition’s topic!! Why mention them?

Larson generously concedes that ”the odds are pretty high that somewhere among the trillions and trillions of stars in the universe there is a planet other than ours that is home to life”. Odds cannot be determined when there is no data. He also foolishly states that ”the odds of making contact with any of them . . . especially any intelligent ones- are extremely small given the distances involved”. To which distances is he referring, billions of light years to very distant galaxies?? Or 39.3 light years to Zeta Reticuli? Where is any data to support these totally baseless claims? Does he have travel schedules for civilizations outside Earth? Surely the astronomical community knows nothing about interstellar travel. More about evidence below, but let us first look at [3].

No  credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public? Is he really unaware of the many TOP SECRET UMBRA CIA UFO documents that have been released so heavily redacted that many pages say “Deny in Toto” or that many others are blacked out except for fewer than 8 words. Is he really unaware that because of a FOIA court case, the NSA has admitted finding 156 TOP SECRET UMBRA UFO documents.

When finally released, one could read about 1 sentence per page with the rest being whited out. The excuse for redaction was that it is illegal to release sources and methods information. It is absurd to suggest that more than 95% of these UFO documents consisted of sources and methods information. Federal Court Judge Gerhard Gesell agreed the documents should not be released “The Public interest in disclosure is far outweighed by the potential danger to the security of the United States should this information be released” he wrote.

Is Larson really unaware of the following 1969 statement by USAF General Carroll Bolender asked to decide Project Blue Book’s future, “Reports of UFOs which could affect national security are made in accord with JANAP 146 or Air Force Manual 55-11 and are not part of the Blue Book system . . .. Termination of Blue Book would leave no official federal office to receive reports of UFOs .

However, as already stated, reports which could affect national security would continue to be handled through the standard Air Force procedures designed for this purpose”; when BB was closed as a result of Bolender’s memo and for more than 40 years since, the public has been falsely told there was no government concern with UFOs. This was a flat-out lie! As late as 2011 there were official regulations in place instructing military pilots how to reports UFOs . . .. Where is all this data? No evidence being hidden???

Since 1969 the public has been told:

  1. “No UFO reported, investigated and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security.
  2. There has been no evidence submitted to or discovered by the Air Force that sightings categorized as unidentified represent technological developments or principles beyond the range of present-day scientific knowledge.
  3. There has been no evidence that sightings categorized as ‘unidentified” are extraterrestrial vehicles”.

Skillfully constructed lies and deception!! What if any other agency such as the navy, CIA, NSA, DIA, NRO, ONI, Majestic 12, etc had done the reporting, investigating, or evaluating? I worked on programs such as nuclear fusion propulsion for star travel (at great cost) way back in 1961). If there was no threat to National Security, why were military pilots officially ordered in 1952 to shoot down UFOs if they did not land when instructed to do so? Why did an AF general state that more than 300 jets had been scrambled?

No evidence being hidden? Then why did Secretary of the Air Force Donald Quarles make the following statement in a very widely distributed press release,  on October 25, 1955,  about a large study concerning UFOs. “On the basis of this study, we believe that no objects such as those popularly described as flying saucers have overflown the United States. I feel certain that even the Unknown 3% could have been explained as conventional phenomena or illusions if more complete observational data had been obtained.” That the 2 supposedly factual statements (3% Unknowns, incomplete observational data), are bald faced LIES is easily demonstrated.  The data are compiled from “the study” whose title was NOT given in the Press Release (“Project Blue Book Special Report No. 14”,) and which was not distributed, though the press release got very wide coverage.

Nothing Hidden?? The Unknowns comprised 21.5% of the 3201 cases investigated by Battelle Memorial Institute (NOT 3%!!) whose identity was not given in the press release. Of great importance is that there was a separate category listed as Insufficient Information comprising 9.3% of the cases. By definition no case could be listed as an UNKNOWN if there was insufficient information despite Quarles’ lie . . .. A statistical cross comparison between UNKNOWNS and Knowns showed that the probability that the UNKNOWNS were just missed knowns was less than 1%. It was also found that the better the quality of a sighting the MORE likely to be listed as an UNKNOWN. Nothing Hidden? Surely you are joking Mr. Larson.

There were also many lies in the 2 huge reports about Roswell. One ridiculous one, was even blindly accepted by the NY Times and appeared on the front page of the Sunday edition above the fold.  Reports of bodies associated with the Roswell case were supposedly the results of observations of crash test dummies dropped all over NM. Two very serious problems with this lie are that no dummies were dropped until 1953 (6 years after Roswell) and that all were 6’ tall, weighed 175 pounds (just Like pilots) and were in uniforms influencing drag and heating on the way down. There is no possible way even including time travel that they could have morphed into skinny creatures under 5’ tall with big heads and big eyes. Nothing Hidden???

Mr. Larson could have benefited by consulting two other official US government reports besides “Blue Book Special Report 14”. “Symposium on Unidentified Flying Objects: Hearings before the Committee on Science and Astronautics, House of Representatives July 29, 1968”. This includes testimony from 12 scientists, all but one, myself, with PhDs. One finds multiple witness radar visual cases, sightings by astronomers and other scientists.

There was also the half million$ University of Colorado study (Usually called The Condon Report) done for the USAF. A special UFO subcommittee of the world’s largest group of Space scientists, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, reported that 30% of the 117 cases studied in detail could not be identified. There was also the Japan Air Lines Flight 1628 case of Nov. 16,1986,which involved ground and air radar, and airborne witnesses. The FAA radar installation’s data was confiscated by the government. The object was twice the size of an aircraft carrier… Nothing Hidden, Mr. Larson?

Benefit might also be obtained by reviewing the extensive files of NARCAP (National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena) which include loads of sightings by pilots. These are men entrusted to fly civilian and military aircraft carrying loads of people. Many outstanding cases are in Leslie Kean’s “UFOs: General, Pilots and Government Officials Go on the Record.” These cannot be Ignored.

Larson talks about evidence. One would think he would mention the literally thousands of physical trace cases from all over the world collected by researchers such as Ted Phillips. He says no contact with any member of the human race .Perhaps he should read “Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience”.

A great deal of the testimony was obtained by psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon. He had been a colonel in the army entrusted with directing a 3000 bed hospital treating shell shock war veterans. He was chosen by the army to star in their movie “Let There be Light” about his successful treatment of these early sufferers from PTSD. He had stated that the emotional intensity of the Hills as they relived portions of their abduction experience was every bit as emotional as that of his many military patients.

What we have here is a travesty against the public, the press, and those many witnesses who have come forth. There is a classic example of bait and switch. Try to redirect attention from aliens visiting (the subject of the petition along with concerns about cover-up) to hypothetical meaningless talk of what might be way out there for which there is no basis at all. If the discussion were in a court of law, Lawson would have to be convicted of perjury.

White House Responds to UFO Petition

| Nov 07, 2011

The White House officially responded to two UFO/extraterrestrial petitions on their “We The People” section of the White House website.“We The People” was launched by the White House to provide “a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action on a range of important issues facing our country.” The site enables anyone to create a petition about any topic.

One of the UFO/extraterrestrial petitions called on the White House to “Immediately disclose the government’s knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings.” The other petition sought formal acknowledgement of “an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.” Both petitions were created on September 22, 2011, but of the two, the latter petition received nearly 6,700 more signatures–12,078.

Phil Larson, who works on space policy and communications at the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, responded to these two petitions with the following statement:

The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.

But as Alejandro Rojas pointed out when he wrote a story about the UFO/ET petitions, there may be evidence to the contrary. Rojas mentioned a Bill Clinton interview from Hong Kong in which the former President stated:

I did attempt to find out if there were any secret government documents that revealed things and if there were, they were concealed from me too. I wouldn’t be the first president that underlings have lied to or that career bureaucrats have waited out. But there may be some career person somewhere hiding these dark secrets, even from elected Presidents. But if so, they successfully eluded me, and I am almost embarrassed to tell you that I did try to find out.

In his response to the petitions, Larson added, “However, that doesn’t mean the subject of life outside our planet isn’t being discussed or explored. In fact, there are a number of projects working toward the goal of understanding if life can or does exist off Earth.” The examples he provided were SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), NASA’s Kepler mission, and the Mars Science Laboratory.

Stephen Bassett NPCStephen Bassett

Stephen Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group is the individual who created the petition that asked for formal acknowledgement of an “extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.” According to MSNBC, a response by a “low-level staffer” isn’t what Bassett was expecting from the White House. Bassestt reportedly plans to begin a new petition campaign. When “We The People” launched, a petition needed to receive at least 5,000 signatures within 30 days to be eligible for a response from the White House. Both of the previously mentioned petitions achieved this goal. But due to greater-than-expected activity on “We The People,” the White House has amended the terms of participation, requiring new petitions to reach 25,000 signatures within 30 days.

Interconnected World and the lack of an ISM

http://www.austinchronicle.com/columns/2011-11-04/letters-at-3am-flash-mob-dance-revolution-part-1/Flash Mob Dance Revolution: Part 1

It is only a matter of time before an interconnected world work force begins to ask, ‘Who are we really working for?’

BY MICHAEL VENTURAFRI., NOV. 4, 2011

Subtitle: “The Worldwide End of Capitalism and Its Replacement by a Mode of Commerce for Which, as Yet, There Is No Ism.”

If I were to tell you that we will soon reach a moment in history when the workers of the world actually can unite, take down capitalism, and begin the evolution of modes of commerce that are free and fair – well, even if you were sympathetic toward me, the best response I could expect might be: “Possible? Maybe. But unlikely. Very.”

My answer: “Recall the spring of 1989.”

Chinese students, who had no definite program, demonstrated for days in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square – a peaceful, patriotic protest. The students wanted no revolution, only liberty. The government controlled all media within China, so this movement did not spread. Peasant troops from the borders, transported to Beijing by rail, were ordered to stop the “counter-revolutionaries”; they mowed the urban children down.

The world was amazed by the students but not by their fates. In retrospect, it seemed inevitable.

What happened later that year was unlikely. Very.

The world had seen how totalitarians dealt with peaceful demonstrators. So what possessed the peoples of East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania – the entire former Soviet bloc, in fact – to do the very same thing Chinese students had done in Tiananmen Square?

No one saw it coming. These peoples had suffered subjugation for decades. Whatever their private dreams, they’d indicated no capacity to risk everything in nonviolent rebellion. Yet, in the greatest abracadabra of modern times, suddenly the Soviet bloc and the Soviet Union were no more.

What made this possible in 1989? Theories abound. We can be certain only of the result: a changed world, changed by common people who just a year before in 1988 never dreamed they would or could do what they did.

Twenty-one years later, beginning Dec. 18, 2010, Tunisians did the same, surprising the world as much as they surprised themselves. At first, talking heads and op-ed writers opined that Tunisia was unique, almost Western, hence this rebellion would not spread. Nonviolent civil disobedience was not an Arab thing. And, indeed, this had been true.

Then, again, an abracadabra.

First in Egypt, then throughout the Arab world, common people made themselves extraordinary, and every playbook on the Middle East became merely a scrapbook.

What happened in Eastern Europe without social media was aided mightily in the Arab world by social media. Egyptian students networked on smartphones, so there were no meetings to bust, no leaders to trail and to arrest. It was the revolutionist version of the flash mob dance. Plans were communicated in a flash to thousands at once. A decentralized movement put a million people in the streets, and not only did its leaders not become household names, but I wonder who can name three? (Asmaa Mahfouz was one. I can’t bring another to mind without Googling.)

From Tiananmen Square to the Berlin Wall to Tahrir Square to Zuccotti Park, the deciding factor was the moment, impossible to pin down, when people suddenly felt an impassioned identification with one another and with a purpose and inspired others to be brave.

Can the greedy excesses of corporate globalization create a strong enough sense of shared identity among the world’s workforce so that across borders and cultures working people will act with unity, communicating instantly through instruments they hold in their hands?

It’s possible – and not so unlikely as one may presume.

The computer, the smartphone, Pearl Harbor, 9/11, Elvis Presley, Barack Obama, the fall of the Soviet empire, the ascendancy of China, Asmaa Mahfouz, the Arab Spring – go all the way back to the discovery of the Americas, and you will find that the first rule of history is this:

The unexpected always happens.

The expected happens, too, of course – and, as with the unexpected, that’s sometimes good and sometimes really not.

At this moment, transnational corporate capitalism proceeds with an accomplishment Karl Marx would envy: a worldwide leveling that is bringing down the Western bourgeois workforce while raising up the peasantry of what used to be the “third” and is now the “developing” world.

James Baldwin once remarked that the white bourgeoisie of the United States, so proud of what they have stolen from others, were incapable of imagining that what they stole from others could, in turn, be stolen from them. Now they needn’t imagine; it has become their daily experience.

Bitterness, panic, and outright craziness constitute, at present, the collective response of the white U.S. workforce, the so-called “working middle class.” They have not hit bottom yet, but the bottom is coming at them faster than they can understand, and their loss of basic identity is terrible to behold as they uselessly and destructively grasp at falsities while they fall and fall.

Europeans today are not as passive, nor are their leaders as dysfunctional, but their certainties are crumbling just as fast, and they too are falling, though theirs is a more controlled, generally less-destructive fall.

The formerly agricultural peasants of the developing world are becoming industrial peasants. They are rising, but how, and to what level? They eat more often but work harder, in usually lousy conditions, regimented into facelessness, seduced into consumerism, yet gradually synchronized by their consumerism into the pace of the rest of the planet.

This leveling process is happening with astonishing speed. All that seems certain is that the process is inexorable.

One stratum rises above it all: the very few who make untold riches from the labor of the very many – plus the courtiers, scribes, and generals who service them. In the first century, 1% of the population of the Roman Empire owned the majority of its resources; today, the same is true of the United States. That, too, is on its way to becoming a worldwide status quo.

But people are not stupid, whatever their stations in life. And no matter how passively or crazily they temporarily behave for months, years, or even decades, it is only a matter of time before an interconnected world workforce begins to ask, “Who are we really working for?”

The answer will not be “ourselves.”

The answer will be “them.”

And once workers understand that “them” is truly the answer – and they will – the 99% will find their voice, and the unexpected will take over.

It will be a zeitgeist change; it will happen as quickly as Eastern Europe in 1989 or the ongoing Arab Spring; it will happen because of people like Asmaa Mahfouz and that anonymous Chinese man who stood before the tanks. It will happen, and “Who are we really working for?” will be an unstoppable question flashed around the world. Impossible to say what event or events will ignite the question, but it will ignite because it is the obvious question. And once it ignites, there will be no stopping it.

(To be continued.)

This four-part essay was commissioned by Rosetta Brooks for inclusion in Six Memes for the New Millennium (Zg Press, January 2012). Given the media’s determination to present Occupy Wall Street as the aberrant behavior of clueless freaks, Rosetta and I choose to debut this piece in the Chronicle before winter drives OWS indoors. Like many, we look toward next spring, which just might be America’s spring, and the spring of working people the world over.

A Call to Occupy from former IMU Dean Charlotte Pritt

Dear Friends,
Many people do not know that the young people of America/world are sifting through the misinformation of the media and the spin doctoring of political pundits to realize that something is fundamentally wrong in America.  That the American dream has been hijacked and many educated people find themselves without a job and no prospects for the ” Pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness for all.”  America’s and the world’s poor have suffered for many years now living the life of “financial terror” as they are unable to secure basic needs of health, food, and shelter.
Because corporate greed,  a controlled media, and “for sale” politicians have bastardized the political process, citizens have no recourse but to turn to peaceful protest.  This protest encompasses all parties, all races, all ethic groups, all genders, all ages: it encompasses the 99% of us who are not the 1% who control 40% of the wealth.
I have visited OccupyCharleston,WV several times.  Although as many of you know, I have lost several close family members and friends in the short period of a few weeks, I realized that I could participate and send a message and a plea to all of you to google Occupy Together to find out what is happening not only in our state, WV, but what is happening throughout the country and in the world.
Since I am still in the grieving process, I am not as focused as I normally am but the group who did the video below said that my sincere beliefs came through even if the English teacher in me felt that I could have been much more specific in certain areas.  Even if I wanted to revise it, they said that thought the message needed to be out sooner than later.  So I have included it.
In our area because most of the older folks are working, sometimes two jobs to make ends meet, OccupyCharlestonWV is a combination of teen-agers, twenty year olds who are working and coming to spend the night, and homeless Veterans.  Our Veterans have been wonderful in helping procure food from shelters and camping out and protecting the younger protesters through the night.  They are fighting the real fight of economic opportunities for all of us:  they are fighting for the Real American Dream and real democracy.
Please let your local officials know that you support the Occupiers in your areas.  Let them know that you believe the right to peaceful protest defines a real democracy.  Let them know that just because you can’t get to the site to show peaceful protest because of illness, work responsibilities, and family obligations, that you are in agreement with the principles of financial overhaul and peaceful protest.
Click on the video below.  And please help us.
Love,
Charlotte

IMU Professor Rupert Matthews joins the European Parliament!

UFO expert to take place in the European parliament!

October 20, 2011 by Leave a Comment

Rupert Matthews

Finally one of our own to take a high seat in the European parliament. He is an expert in UFOs and paranormal activity and is set to become Leicestershire’s voice in the European parliament. The decision by outspoken East Midlands Tory MEP Roger Helmer to quit at the end of the year means that Rupert Matthews, 50, is due to replace him. The father of two has written more than 180 books on history, military and paranormal subjects and has published books by several writers, including Mr Helmer.

His books include UFOs: A History of Alien Activity from Sightings to Abductions to Global Threat, Unexplained Ghosts and Spirits and The Sasquatch.Mr Matthews also runs an online course about the paranormal on behalf of the International Metaphysical University. He is set to take over the £73,000-a-year Brussels role on December 31. City Conservative councillor Ross Grant said: “He’s a really likeable and friendly guy and also a very effective campaigner. As an MEP, he will be a critical friend to Europe.”

Andy Bayford, chairman of Leicester Conservative Association said: “I first met Rupert during the Leicester South by-election in 2004. “I believe he’ll be a good representative for Leicester and Leicestershire in the European Parliament. “He is a bit quirky and eccentric, so he’s fairly similar to Roger Helmer.” Mr Matthews declined to be interviewed, saying he had been advised not to speak until after taking up the post. He did, however, issue a statement, in which he said: “Roger Helmer will be a tough act to follow. “I first met Roger when we were both campaigning in the 1999 European elections – he as a candidate and I as a Conservative Party activist. “Since then, Roger has done a fine job of representing the East Midlands in Brussels and Strasbourg. “It will be an honour to follow Roger in the task of battling the ever-increasing federalism of the EU by representing the people of the East Midlands and the Conservative Party in the European Parliament.”

Mr Matthews has stood as Tory candidate in the Labour stronghold of Bootle, Merseyside, in 1997, and came second with 8.5 per cent of the vote. In 2009, he stood as a Tory candidate for the East Midlands in the European elections, where voters choose a party, rather than a candidate. A list of candidates, ranked in order, are submitted by each party before the election. Parties are awarded seats in the parliament based on the number of votes received across a region. Mr Helmer and Emma McClarkin were the top two names on the Conservative list and won seats based on the party’s vote tally across the East Midlands. Mr Matthews was next on the list so did not make the cut in 2009. But, under EU election rules, he will now replace Mr Helmer without the need for a by-election. The other three East Midlands MEPs are Labour’s Glenis Willmott, UKIP’s Derek Clark and Lib Dem Bill Newton Dunn.

Hope he can do some difference, and congrats to Mr. Matthews.

Universal Laws and the Application of Knowledge

By Ivan Aguilar

This paper was submitted as the final project for the course, “CON 501 Principles of Metaphysics”. It was so profound that it was worthy of sharing. Thank you Ivan.

Underneath or behind everything that permeates the universe there exist the substantial reality, the truth, the real, the source, The All. A universal mind shared by all living, conscious and unconscious, great and small beings. Through this infinite mind that we are all connected to, we are all unified; we are all one, the ultimate. It is through this ‘source’ where the game of creation begins and from where we can defy the laws of physics, space and time, travel to or communicate with any anyone any place any time at any rate we want. Telepathy becomes possible, space travel becomes faster than the speed of light, thoughts become realities, and individuals become godlike.

Through the eyes of a mere mortal man trying to grasp the greatness that is The All, becomes nearly an impossible task. How can ‘I’, a human being, a speck of dust in this vast endless vacuum understand the mind of god? It seems such an improbable, unthinkable feat to try to accomplish, but yet I try. And so this mere mortal can only use what tools he has, what he knows, what he feels, and understands and simply work from here.

What do ‘I’ know without a doubt or question of whether it is real or not, without even thinking twice about it, of what is truth? There is only one thing I know, and that is that I am consciousness. This consciousness can think, this consciousness can feel, this consciousness ‘what ever it may be’ is most definitely real.  That I cannot deny. My legs can be chopped off and yet I still am. Portions of my brain can be removed and yet I still am. My body can fall into a deep sleep and I can loose all awareness of my body and yet I still am. Who am I? This word ‘I’ does not do any justice to express or define how this ‘I’ could exist and yet I know that ‘I am’. This ‘am’ is conscious. I can dream of being a killer, a saint, a star, and animal, a butterfly, and yet as I can feel and be all this ‘things’, still I am something else, something that cannot be expressed in words something greater. They were mere dreams but the consciousness that permeates these dreams is the existential reality, the real, the eternal, the truth. From where did I come from, this consciousness, how can this be? It seems so magnificent yet confusing, so profound yet so simple, but still it feels so right, so true.

These are the wonders of a genuine seeker. I would like to consider myself one no matter what anyone else says because only ‘I’ can assert this seeking and only ‘I’ can confirm that ‘I’ exist. And now to try understanding why ‘I’ exist and how ‘I’ came to be is something worth undertaking when trying to understand the mystery of this ‘I’. And so I sought after the answers that deep down I already knew but somehow forgotten and with that being said I found myself knocking on the doors of understanding, and I found myself staring at the reflection of the truth, but to begin to understand it I needed a base from where I could begin my work, some universal laws, something operating at every level of existence, enter The Kybalion.

Once learning, understanding, and comprehending that I am part not ‘A’ part but ‘part’ of an infinite living mind, this mind that has given me life, given me free will, and birthed me into existence; suddenly a great silence, a great peace, gratitude, awe, amazement, and miracle had dawned upon me. This was what I was searching for, what I have forgotten, what I have set out to remember. That I live inside god and god lives inside me, there is no separation, and there never was.

Why couldn’t I see it before? And if it all makes sense then why do I still feel like I am separate? Only small glimpses here and there have confirmed this reality for me, maybe I have only had a taste of the beyond and I am hungry for more. But I am still here seeking to return, to once again become one with that mind. This ‘I’ is still stuck in this dream, this game. The player of this game is searching for its creator. Hoping to dissolve into him once again and become whole, but if I am here to play this game then why does this game seem so real and why am I so stuck in it?

Is it that I am so caught up in this game that I cannot truly see what is so obvious? Individually I have a mind, a have free will, I can think, I create thoughts, I command my own energy and direct it through my emotions, feelings, actions and thoughts. But these emotions, these feelings, actions, and thoughts still pull my strings, why and how? One seems to affect the other and vice versa. I observe them and yet they still go on and on as if trying to reach somewhere or achieve some sort of balance, they are undoubtedly connected but yet existing at separate levels. To understand this, enter the law of compensation, ‘as above so below, as below so above’. Each state affect each other like a sports coach affects his players and the players to the coach. As they undoubtedly must serve one another they must also take care of each other. It is the responsibility of the head coach (which I will call the soul) to keep the whole team (spirit) in function and operating in sync with one another, but the head coach can only game plan and do so much as it is the responsibility of the players (I will use; physical, emotional, and mental bodies as the players) to play the game, know the rules, and follow the game plan. The analogy of the coach, players, and team is an example of how consciousness is playing this game of life, and how I use the example of the coach and the players to explain the law of compensation.

Somewhere along the game an unbalance was created, the game became too challenging and the players forgot their initial role and each one decided to play individually and become their own captain while the initial captain (mental body, closest to the soul) was suppose to follow the game plan put forth by the coach (soul) who instead started to call his own plays. The lowest rung of players (physical, emotional body) started to dominate the team’s (spirit) focus and the game became chaotic, unbalance. This started a chain reaction that led to many effects, from the initial cause (challenges, lessons, etc) came the downfall, the law of causation, ‘cause and effect’, came into being. The wheel of karma was created. Until each player becomes aware of its initial role that is to serve and watch over his fellow teammates, this law will be in effect and the chain reactions will continue forth lifetime after lifetime until the wheel of karma is brought back to balance.

Ok, now I understood, I comprehended how the unbalanced came forth, but how can I bring these states (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) back to balance? One minute I am up, happy, joyful and the next I am down, sad, and depressed. Why do I keep swinging back and forth between the vibrations of these states? It is a polarity struggle, one minute I’m vibrating on Mt. Everest and the next I am vibrating at the bottom of a pit. To understand, enter the principles of polarity (everything is dual, has its opposites), the principle of vibration (everything vibrates, nothing ever rest), and the principle of rhythm (pendulum swing, same swing to the left will equal the same swing to the right). The initial chain reaction kicked off the pendulum swing, from pole to pole, vibration to vibration, with the unbalanced of each state, the soul became a victim of the actions from its own physical, emotional, and mental counterparts.

How can I escape the pendulum swing of polarities? The fist thing to understand is that the chain reaction cannot just stop cold turkey, balanced must be achieved first. So I cannot fully escape either law, at the most I can only detached myself from them and allow the chain reaction to flow un-interruptedly and not create anymore causes. The vibrations, once noted, can be shifted from state to state, but the pendulum swing will continue to swing back and forth between polarities. Once this is fully grasped, that my consciousness, the essential reality is far above anything physical, emotional, mental, and even spiritual, then I can begin to see that I can detached myself from anything that is not consciousness itself, because consciousness is the gift from The All, The All itself being an infinite living mind, one eternal consciousness. If The All is an eternal conscious mind, and I myself am consciousness then there has to be a way to detached myself from the illusion of the other laws and dissolve back to the source, the ultimate law.

How can I remain untouched, un-attached, without clinging to any polarity? This seems very hard because with every emotion, feeling or thought my consciousness gets sucked into the drama and it seems nearly impossible to escape. The vibrations of each emotion seem so strong and the gravitation pulls me very hard. The question now arises, who is the one that clings to these emotions? So long as I see myself as separate from The All, the illusion of the ego (mind) is the one that clings; the mental body gets dragged along the hardships of the physical and emotional bodies, and if there is pain physically or emotionally and the mental body reinforces the pain, then it becomes my reality. How to stop the wavering mind from reinforcing or clinging onto this pain? The mind cannot, because the nature of the mind is aggressive (masculine), it is always going forward it cannot stop. The best thing to do here is to not listen to the mind but rather the heart, because the heart is the closest to the soul. The heart is passive, compassionate, open, receptive, the feminine qualities; here is where we see the law of gender, (masculine positive, feminine negative). The soul speaks through the heart (feminine, it receives) and the heart connects to the mind (masculine), the mind (captain) then watches over the lower bodies and directs them to their rightful place.

The most important lesson to be remembered is to bring back each part of my spirit (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) back to balance; they must each remember their roles in the game and play within the rules. The first thing was to give back the authority and command to the soul, and allow the soul to guide the captain (mental body) this happens through the heart and the captain to watch over the lower bodies and direct them (physical and emotional), but to remember that the needs must be taken care of the lowest rung (physical) so that the base can stay intact and one can serve the other while the other watches over it. Once the balance is brought back, this game will be solved, and the only reason to continue to play the game is for the sake of playing, having fun, not taking it too seriously. There has still not been found any reason why The All creates, what purpose it holds, and there might never be, but life is a game that the soul plays, and maybe the original intent was just to play for playing sake, there is no purpose, playing just to have fun is its own purpose. Just ask a child why loves to play, he will say just because he loves to play. Why does The All create, just because? This report is just a small sample of how I have understood the 7 principles to be working within the self, and how the self can be brought back to balance and re-unite with the source. The examples of the 4 bodies is where I have applied these principles in my journey of self discovery.
