The Great Pleiadian Eclipse Alignment – May 20, 2012

On May 20, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years, the Sun and Moon, and the constellation responsible for our spiritual evolution and ascension, the mystic Pleiades, will align in a spectacular, full Annular Solar Eclipse and a rare solar eclipse alignment will happen between the Earth, the Sun and, our central Sun, Alcyone in the Pleiades Constellation.

An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon’s apparent diameter is smaller than the Sun, causing the Sun to look like an annulus (ring), blocking most of the Sun’s light. An annular eclipse appears as a partial eclipse over a region thousands of kilometres wide.

The annular phase will be visible from the Chinese coast, northern Taiwan, the south of Japan, and the western part of the United States and CanadaGuangzhouTaipeiTokyo and Albuquerque will be on the central path. Its maximum will occur in the North Pacific, south of the Aleutian islands for 5 min and 46.3 s, and finish in the western United States.

It will be the first central eclipse of the 21st century in the continental USA, and also the first annular eclipse there since the solar eclipse of May 10, 1994 which was also the previous eclipse of this series Solar Saros 128.

“The Pyramid of the Sun outside Mexico City at Teotihuacan is said to be aligned with the Pleiades, for its west face and many of the surrounding streets were aligned directly with the setting point of the Pleiades on midnight of the night when it is at its highest point. The Pleiades was clearly revered also by the Mayans, who in the area ofChichen Itza knew that the Sun casts a snake-like shadow on the side of the north stairway of the Kukulcan pyramid during the spring equinox. Some scholars have calculated that about 60 days after this shadow’s appearance, when the sun reaches its zenith over the Pyramid at mid-day (May 20 – May 23), there is another direct alignment with the Pleiades. This Pleiades-sun alignment may have a direct connection with Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent that came to bring a greater wisdom to the planet.

The ancient Egyptians also singled out the Pleiades as a female goddess, probably most often recognized as Neith, the “divine mother”, or Hathor, who took on the form of a cow (who carried the seeds of life). Pyramidologists working in Egypt in the last twelve years have found pyramidal texts that suggest the Egyptians revered the Pleiades as a higher divine star system, especially Alcyone, its brightest star.”

The Pleiades are a well-known sight in the Northern Hemisphere in winter and in the Southern Hemisphere in summer, and have been known since ancient times to cultures all around the world.  Early Dakota stories speak of the ancestors as being the Pleiades. The Hopis called the Pleiadians the ‘Chuhukon’, meaning those who cling together. They considered themselves direct descendents of the Pleiadians.

Navajos named the Pleiades the ‘Sparkling Suns’, the home of the ‘Black God’. The Iroquois pray to them for happiness. The Cree claim to have come to Earth from the stars in spirit form first and then became flesh and blood. Some Native Americans believed that all tribes in North America came from the Pleiades. That they were actually descendents and had been given a task by the Pleiadians to keep the Earth safe.

Eclipses mean changes, good and everything in-between. Eclipses always escort in significant events– They intensely magnify and are living parenthesis forcing us to look at what we have turned our heads away from.  Solar eclipses mean new beginnings, (May 20, 2012) and lunar eclipses (June 4, 2012) represent finishing things.

These are very powerful Eclipses each with there own gifts and own set of rules. As the Pleiadian stellar connection renews itself, new crystalline geometries will be birthed that compliment the existing light connection.

I am very anxious to see what will transpire on May 20, 2012. The Eclipse is a definite however, I really feel something more is going to happen. For any of us who are in tune with the earth changes and have been researching events, you can just feel something big is going to happen.

There is certainly a lot of tension building. Generally these things, in my experience, are more “non” events that act as pre-cursors to things that come shortly thereafter. With this many alignments and so much intention on the planet right now, it does seem like something is afoot.

The Earth will be renewed, and humanity will rise. We will be free spiritually and physically.

change. its hard to believe but change weather it be good or bad. we decide our own fates.
though in a case like this. its about time it was good for a change. as i have seen a lot of bad happen already.

So there’s going to be a solar eclipse on my birthday? AWESOME!!!

  4. Eliza says:

Expectation without Attachment to a specific outcome is what generates that feeling of excitement. It’s going to be fun!

I wanted to paint an impression of this line up. From the Pleiades we will be a tiny speck behind the Sun.

  7. Julia says:

the oddest part about today’s partial eclipse was that there ws a double shaddow on the ground–it was actually quite scarry looking

Wow. Sounds very, very cool! I am on the east coast so I could only watch it online! You are very fortunate to see it in person.

We come here with an issue to work on. It may be anger, or timidity, or acceptance or dealing with betrayal. It becomes the all-consuming issue of our lives. It is the source of our pleasures and our frustrations.

Choice of our parents and our circumstances are all thought out and set up ahead of time. So it is useless to blame anyone, or blame circumstances, because through set-backs and frustrations, or even through boredom, we learn, and advance to the next step.

Many times our issue translates, sooner or later, into a health issue. There are a million examples—our spouse drives us to drink, or our insistence to prove a point in athletics leads us to break a leg or slip into a crevasse, our need for recognition drives us to become a workaholic and suffer adrenal fatigue. The list goes on and on.

All these insights came to me at 3 pm on May 20, 2012. Two hours later, Mt. Shasta, where I was, was at the center of the solar eclipse.

Wow. That’s quite an experience! And you got to see it on Mount SHASTA! Jeez! Lucky, lucky you!

Many of us will gather at Serpent Mound for the Venus Transit and I can hardly wait! To me Serpent Mound is one of the most sacred and powerful places on the planet. I mean can you imagine our ancestors getting together and making an effigy mound in the shape of kundalini herself? Amazing. You walk on this place and you are immediately addicted to these energies. I can only imagine that Mt. Shasta is much the same way.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful insights.

It sucked! People walking in the street didnt even noticed! I want my money back!!!

We must remember that the actual eclipses themselves do not bring change on the day that they occur. Instead it shows us the direction that things will unfold in the next few weeks (lunar) or many months (solar). You are right that there will be a lot happening with all the celestial action. Venus retrograde trine Saturn to turn direct at same time as Venus. Both were trine yesterday as the eclipse happened. Should there be specific action also going on in your chart during these times of eclipse you can be sure your life will take some interesting turns.

It must mean the world will end on 5/20/2012 … oh wait.

I never understand where this sentiment comes from. Is it because the Media promulgates it? We in the metaphysical community see this shift in consciousness more as a beginning of a “new world” than the end of anything. It is a shift into a new level of awareness and understanding. The idea that the world will some how end seems preposterous.
