The Venus Transit is a profound and important experience for all who live upon the earth. This is the time when Venus passes between the earth and the sun. I will begin with the meaning of Venus from the astrophysical point of view. Then I will cover the meaning of Venus crossing in front of the sun. Finally, I will give suggestions on how to cooperate with the energies that are available today.

Astro physically Venus governs the heart Chakra and the thymus gland which controls our immune system. It gives us our capacity for compassion and appreciation of beauty. Fear and judgment shut down the heart Chakra and cause immune related problems. Venus plays a prominent role in financial matters and the flow of money. The heart Chakra is our center of intuitive knowing. Without this we might blindly follow dogmas and gurus.

The Venus transit, combined with other powerful celestial alignments, supports an awakening of the divine feminine energies in all of us. This can lead to a healthy self-worth, intimacy, trust, harmony, peace, order, unconditional love and compassion. Since February third of this year Neptune was in Pisces. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. This adds spiritual energy into this Venus transit, inspiring a desire for sacred love and the selfless upliftment of others. It is the time to leave lust and recreational drugs behind. Venus represents our feminine side and hearts. The sun represents our masculine side and individuality. Venus passing in front of the sun symbolizes our need to allow the feminine energies to guide and balance our masculine expression. The patriarchal organizations of the world have repressed most of the feminine wisdom of the world. It is time for the pendulum to swing back towards the divine feminine and rest comfortably in the middle. The feminine nature needs to feel the strength, protection, and love of the masculine nature.

The events herein described may not come to pass unless we cooperate with the available energies. It is very easy to blame others, like the controllers, for everything that’s wrong with our world. Yet ultimately, we are all co-creators here. We all play a role in everything that goes on. When we commit to lookinng inside of ourselves for the reason things aren’t working the way we would like, we can make a big difference. It is the use of the creative imagination of Venus controlled to conform to your mental images in response to the environment that provides the energy of manifestation.

Since Venus plays a prominent role in financial matters and the flow of money, a new era of monetary systems could emerge after scandals and corruption come to public awareness.

Since Venus gives us appreciation of beauty we may see a new form of art emerge.

Since the higher aspect of Venus is being expressed this can help us to integrate our ego self with our higher self which in turn will attract higher love into our relationships.

Nelson Mandela said, “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

Since the media shapes our opinions it must play a more significant role in creating more love and empowerment not only in our own lives, but also in the world around us. Conscious and unconscious fear and hatred-based emotions can be obstacles to higher love. The present day media greatly exaggerates crime and terrorism. We’re more likely to be killed from a falling asteroid than from a terrorist attack. On 9/11 about 3,000 people were killed but every day about 1,400 people are killed from smoking. The collective message that our young women and men receive is that a woman’s value and power lie in her youth, beauty, and sexuality, and not in her capacity as a leader. While women have made great strides in leadership over the past few decades, the United States is still 90th in the world for women in national legislatures; women hold only 3% of clout positions in mainstream media.

Our world is deeply affected by women’s separation from their essence. If humanity was in accord with nature through the feminine, there would be no ecological crisis, no raping of the earth’s resources, and no wars. If women refused to be with the men who propagated such horrors, they would not occur. Women have the power they are not using, and not even aware of not using. If a woman stopped her husband from going to war, refusing to make love with him if he violated this law of love, do you think he would?
