Working with the Illusion
I know for all of us, sometimes the illusion can get very real. It seems like anytime you get caught up with the system, whether it be lawyers, accountants or even government clerks, the system has a way of taking over, as if it has any real authority in our lives. Often we forget that these are as it would be described as “The Matrix.” It is not real and it is the work from which we are here to escape.
But how do you do that, based on the “hard realities” of punishment from non-participation? It is an age old question that many people ponder time and again. I can’t tell you how many people have said to me that they’d like to start their own community or country or buy and island and just escape there. And at the same time, we all crave the connection, safety and intimacy of community. Without those connections, life is somehow barren of its greater depth. And yet history has shown through Jonestown, Waco, etc, that these types of communities ultimately come to some crazy demise, always at the hand of the government, followed by grand propaganda of how insane the leaders were. I personally wonder how much is true and how much is devised to keep us trapped in the illusion. Either way, the message is clear. Participate or suffer the wrath of those in charge.
While I have few answers, I do find myself staring the system in the face nowadays, pondering my own role in it. I have also looked at my own sovereignty as a spiritual being and as a member of our society. How does one participate and yet not subjugate?
I recently spent some time with a local law enforcement officer who was surprisingly open-minded. Or at least he came across that way, perhaps in a covert role (one can safely presume that both roles are at play). In this conversation he was telling me about his time in Iraq where he was staying in Saddam Hussein’s whorehouse. The story was that Saddam and his sons had a proclivity for 13 year old virgins and thus would send out soldiers on missions to raid birthday parties and bring them back prime girls. The girls were then picked over, raped, and impregnated. The children were then kept as the young girls were now set free.
The story was clearly designed to make me see how bad the Iraqi’s are but instead it reminded me of how horrible ANY government can be if left unchecked and our very important role of checks and balances. I think it is particularly important for the lightworker’s who so clearly see through the illusion. We KNOW we are sovereign beings, inherently, ruled by the laws of the divine and the laws of nature. We know that no man has sovereignty over us. And yet, we also understand that the sleeping ones often need a strong hand to keep them from making real trouble and causing everyone distress. It is a delicate balance indeed for how do we maintain a society of sovereign beings if most people have no capacity to maintain themselves without someone telling them what to do or be?
As to my point of this story, I think the key is to remember our role as leaders to remain the objective all-loving observers. We need to remember that the matrix is not real and that ultimately we are our own decision makers, guided by a higher being. It is an important place from which to walk and one worthy of consideration.
Your thoughts are welcome.
