Overcoming Emotional Scars: How the Emotional Freedom Technique Can Transform your Life

Several months ago during my most recent EFT class, one of the students said something that sort of stopped me in my tracks. As English isn’t her first language, it took a minute for what she was saying to sink in and when it did it was like a bolt of lightening hit my system, a classic “aha” moment.

In the EFT class (Emotional Freedom Techniques Certification Class), we learn that everyone runs on energy and that this energy runs through the body in predictable patterns. Everyone has both negative and positive polarity. Its just the way things work. This is based on the fact that we live inside of a magnetic system. The earth herself is one big magnet with North being the positive pole and South being the negative pole. The tension between these two poles holds everything together. Because we live on the earth and are in essence a part of the earth, we are affected by her polarity. It applies to all of us equally.

In the class we also learn that if someone is magnetically reversed, also known as polarity reversal or psychological reversal, nothing in their life will go right. In fact, everything sort of goes backwards. It reminds me of the episode in Seinfeld where George decides to always do the opposite of his natural inclination and all of a sudden everything in his life started to go right. Its a classic example of someone who is “reversed.”

Once the polarity is corrected, as we learn to do in EFT, the whole person gets back into the flow.

So anyway, in the class, this student says, “I think the earth has polarity reversal.”

Think about that for a moment. Let it just sink in…

THE EARTH IS POLARITY REVERSED! 

She went on to explain her theory. Look at everything in our world that is “successful” and you’ll see that it is indeed “backwards.”

Examples:

The medical system, which is supposed to make us well, isn’t a system of wellness at all.  Anyone who is paying attention can see that it isn’t a healthcare system but a sickcare system. The system is designed to keep you sick so that you keep coming back. Instead of healing you, medical intervention is recognized as  the number one cause of death on the planet.  And worse, everyone who comes up with a real solution or cure is mitigated by the system, often shunned and sometimes even killed. Alternative and holistic therapies that have few if any known side effects and are highly effective, are shunned, ridiculed, or even made illegal.

The Government System is so corrupted by money and corporate influence that the idea of a government “for the people and by the people” is known by most to be a sham. Instead it is a government “for the rich and by the rich.” Government has become intrusive and is no longer trustworthy. More people are in prison than ever in  history and judges take kickbacks to put them there. Justice is usually decided by who has the most money and the most unscrupulous attorney. More and more information reveals that the governments lie to us to supposedly “keep us safe.”

The Military used to be based on pride and a desire to defend our country. Nowadays wars are fought over resources for corporations and we pretend that its about national interests. We are lied to by the government to make the case for war and wars are fought without so much as a declaration of war from our own congress.

Capitalism and the monetary system has made a mockery of every hard-working person who really wants to do good. Money is now printed out of thin air and the rich get richer while the poor get poorer. The working class has almost disappeared. The funniest example of this is when banks charge you for an overdraft. That is such a hoot. So you don’t have enough in your account to cover the bill so they charge you more money! Talk about REVERSED!

Even our food system is backwards. Foods, which is the essence of life, is now filled with pesticides, hormones, dyes and fillers. The labeling doesn’t tell you what’s really in the food and you can almost expect that it it says, “made with real blueberries” it will turn out to be blueberry coloring and some sugar. ‘Add to that the genetically modified foods and you can see that the food supply is definitely reversed.

I’m sure there are a dozen other examples (please share your ideas in the comments section below) but this is enough to make the point.

What I find most notable is how hard it is for people to live a life of integrity. In fact, almost every lightworker I know struggles to make ends meet. It almost seems like the higher up the scale they go, the harder it is to survive in this broken world. Instead, it seems that to  thrive in this world, you must, in some way, align yourself with the reversed polarities. Look around you, the people who are not just surviving but thriving are almost always doing it through an alignment with one or more of these broken systems. Government, military, bankers, financers, insurance agents, and lawyers all do very well financially. While social workers, light workers, healers, and teachers struggle. Can you see the correlation?

It seems to me that BECAUSE the earth herself is REVERSED, those of us who are NOT reversed or not able or willing to align ourselves with that which IS reversed, really struggle as if WE were the ones with the issue. Instead, we are out here holding the frequency to keep the earth in a place of integrity, working to raise the vibration of the planet and CONSTANTLY correcting our energies to keep ourselves moving in the right direction, even if the polarity of the earth herself has become “the enemy.”

It makes me think about all of the doomsday prophecies that talk about the pole shifts. It seems that throughout history our poles have shifted quite regularly. Magnetic North becomes Magnetic South etc. This is particularly interesting when you see that our true north is definitely shifting and is something like 13 miles off of true north even now. And when you realize that the North pole, the dominant pole, is also the masculine pole and that men have dominated the planet as a result, you have to ask if the rise of the divine feminine and feminine power is somehow aligned with the movement of the poles.

It also begs the question, “does the world NEED a polarity reversal?” If it happened, might it be a really good thing? Hmmm. I guess science would tell you its a disaster but as an energy healer I can see that getting the poles corrected always makes the human more powerful and puts them back on a path to healing. Wouldn’t it be nice if such a thing could happen on Earth?
